PART 10: COLLECTING ACCELEROMETER FLIGHT
DATA
This information will be provided at a later date, allowing
construction of the rocket in the interim, with something to look forward
to after building this modified ricket kit. This section will detail collecting
rocket flight data from the IAX-96 integrating accelerometer board to a
computer using the included software. The data will be used to plot and
print graphs of the rocket flight performance, which includes the parachute
opening loads and descent time. This flight data will then be compared to
rocket flight performance projections using software to determine rocket
flight parameters.
