PART 9: INSTALLING AND MOUNTING ACCELEROMETER
PAYLOAD BOARD:
This information will be provided at a later date, allowing
construction of the rocket in the interim, with something to look forward
to after building this modified rocket project kit. This section deals with
collecting rocket flight data from an IAX-96 integrating accelerometer board.
This will include downloading flight data from the board to a computer using
the included software. The data will be used to plot and print graphs of
the rocket flight performance, which includes the parachute opening loads
and descent time. This flight data will then be compared to rocket flight
performance projections using software to determine rocket flight parameters.
This section will be added after the parachute packing material is part
8 is presented.
