The Astrobee D fin cannister lug is depicted in these photographs.
Detailed dimensions of the fin cannister and aft lug are provided in the
scale autocad drawing that come with the Aerotech Astrobee D rocket kit.
The kit is worth the price just for theses drawings. Because these drawings
are copyrighted by Aerotech, they can't be provided here, but purchase of
this kit is recommended for the well done scale documentation. Consult the
Aerotech kit scale plans for dimensions and details of fin cannister and
aft launch lug.
Figure 1 (left): Astrobee D fin cannister with aft launch lug attached to fin can
with four rivets. Fin can slots slide over each fin. Enlarged top slot areas
are for large center pin of each fin.
