The Bullpup has flown at LDRS!
The flight was a complete success. Recovery was perfect. The Paratech parachutes performed flawlessly and the rocket was recovered with nothing more than some mud and scratches in the paint from being dragged 200 ft. through a plowed field. I was awarded Level-3 By Tap members Darrin Plummer and Steve White. Thanks Guys!

No, you are not seeing double. :-)
I really am building two upscaled Estes Bullpups. The one on the left (my right) is a traditional motor ejection / nose-blow recovery design very similar to the original Estes kit.
It will spend it's life after it's completion as a Hangar Queen in a certain rocket shop somewhere in Ohio.
Ross Dunton, of Magnum Rockets who started me down this road to Level-3 certification.
Sue McMurray, TMT Chair. The absolutely greatest and most generous soul I know. I would not be making this Level-3 attempt without her help!
Randy Thomas, owner of Paratech Parachutes, whose sponsorship of a complete professional recovery system has completely eliminated my concerns about a safe and successful recovery.
NOTE: THESE CHUTE SYSTEMS ARE AWESOME! I WILL BE WRITING A COMPLETE REPORT ON MY EXPERIENCES WITH THE PARATECH CHUTES LATER.
The series of airframe glassing photos in the directory below show the airframe being supported in a special fixture.
Some more photos and information on that fixture may be found in the
fixture construction article.
