From the listing: "Free Flight Enterprises Conical Reserve Parachute. Updated and repacked by Free Flight in spring of 2001 and stored in a cool dry place since. New 25' bridle and deployment bag. 20" of bridle can be removed to facilitate use for a paragliding harness. Recommended for 250 pounds gross. Ideal for pilot weight of 170 or less.
Although this reserve has been eclipsed by newer technology (pack volume size, decent rate, opening time, container design, etc.)it is still a perfectly appropriate reserve to use. Hundreds of pilots lives were saved by reserves identical to this one. There was even one instance where one was inadvertently deployed from a small plane carrying two occupants and it lowered them to safety according to Gary Douris, the then owner of Free Flight Enterprises. I used this type for many years and sold hundreds of them to my students. In the 1980s and into the 1990s there was none better."
