Aerotech EFC-1

Hello,

Does anyone have any experience with the Aerotech EFC-1? Having a programmable and reusable delay timer is a very attractive proposition for me. All the better is that it screws directly onto the motor case itself.

Are there other alternatives to an (expensive) electronics system like this? I have only recently become a BAR, and welcome any advice or info (even if it seem elementary).

You could buy something like a PET2 timer from MissileWorks and build your own enclosure, saving about $100 in the process.

You can also check out the Pico Timers (http://www.picoalt.com/).

But, there is something to say for convenience....
