E is an electrical contractor by training and profession.  After having studied at Moorpark College, E today owned and operated Gateco Electric, providing electrical contracting services throughout the Southern California area.  E is also an avid skydiver and BASE jumper, having completed more than 600 jumps.  When it comes to high power rocketry, where D tends toward the theoretical, E is right there to bring things back to reality, frequently coming up with solid and practical solutions to their rocketry design challenges.  E lives in Thousand Oaks, California, with his wife Beth, and his three children; Jessica, Ashley, and David.

D is an electrical engineer by training (BSEE CSUN 1983) and an executive by training (MBA Pepperdine 1990) and profession.  In 1988, he founded Xircom which grew to become the leading manufacturer of mobile communications products for notebook and handheld PCs.  With a half billion dollars in annual revenue and nearly 2000 employees scattered around the globe, being Xircom's CEO kept D pretty busy, but in 2001 he sold Xircom to Intel and now has plenty of spare time to devote to his family, and of course his new habit, I mean hobby, rocketry.  D currently sits on the boards of a number of private technology companies and lives in Westlake Village, California, with his wife Tina, and four children; Evan, Aren, Iayn, and Adin.

Kris is small business manager by training and profession.  After having served in the military, Kris today has settled in Illinois and jointly manages a number of fast food franchises with his partner.  With Kris living in the midwest he only gets to one or two west coast launches a year with the brothers, but is looking forward to moving up to level 3 in the near future.

Tina is a marketing communications professional by training (BA BYU 1990, MBA Pepperdine 1995).  Most recently she was a principal in MarketStorm, a marketing consulting firm in Westlake Village.  Tina is currently on sabbatical enjoying raising two new additions to her and D's family, as well as guiding their older boys through their teenage years.  With the two little ones, Tina doesn't get to every launch, but does her best to get to the big ones.

Jessie is E's older daughter and can be found at most launches helping out with logistics.

Ashley is E's younger daughter and occasionally shows up at launches helping out with recovery.

David is E's son and frequently shows up at launches, flying his own creations and helping out with recovery.

Evan is D's older son and is the official GBR photographer.  Virtually all the photos on this site were taken by Evan.

Aren is D's younger son and is a frequent attendee at launches helping out with recovery and camera duty.
